Lakenya Spikes knows what it means to fight for your life—against the odds, the pain, and the labels the world tries to place on you. Born in South-Central Los Angeles, she grew up in an environment that could have broken anyone: a home shadowed by neglect, betrayal, and generational pain. But even in the darkest moments, Lakenya held onto one undeniable truth—she was meant for more.
Who is Lakenya
Lakenya is a mother of two, the oldest of six siblings. Lakenya was raised by her grandma and at the age of 13 decided she wanted and deserved more for herself, Lakenya fought to have the decent life that she now lives, filled with humbleness, compassion, empathy, peace, joy, and love.
Early Life
As a teenager Lakenya became so goal driven, nothing could stop her from providing a better life for herself. Upon having children, Lakenya really kicked into gear of providing a meaning-full life which you will read as she tells her story of how it all became. Lakenya has been through a lot and seen a lot in her years as a child, a growing teenager, and becoming an adult. The world has tried to break Lakenya since he was a child which starts with her own family.

What Lakenya has been through made her strong, goal-oriented, driven, determined, independent, ambitious, along with being empathic, compassionate self-motivated, inspiring, encouraging as well as influential. Lakenya has accomplished many things in her life, she became everything no one thought she would be. Over the years Lakenya has given a lot of herself of to others who never reciprocated the same things she gave to them. Lakenya has been a God-fearing woman who has Christ in her life for the past 12-13years, she knows she is nothing with out them. With them both being the driving force of her essence, her life’s mission and soul purpose, there is nothing Lakenya can’t do. Her prayer life is her top priority. Lakenya has held on tight to both God and Christ to get through many trials and tributation that were sent to break her but couldn’t touch her soul.
